Easter Time!

Today’s blog begins on Saturday 8th April, when Keshia and Aaron became the new Mr and Mrs Miller. They had opted for a pastel blue theme which looked beautiful and summery in our oak room. They had the perfect weather for their big day as the bright sunshine shone through onto their lovely white aisle which was lined with delicate blue petals. Stood on the windowsill was a huge #Millers sign which was just great for those all-important Instagram photo’s later on!

The whole garden suite also followed the summery blue theme, with hints of colour in every aspect of the wedding. The top table was decorated beautifully with a simple white and blue swag which added the perfect amount of elegance. Tables were decorated with small bouquets of gypsophila surrounded by small candles which created such a lovely atmosphere in the evening. Keshia and Aaron’s cake was made by a friend and looked beautiful in the bright, sunny Garden Suite. Each tier was decorated with yummy ivory icing and pretty blue flowers; it looked delicious!

The wedding of Louisa and Paul took place on Saturday 15th April and of course, Easter weekend! Louisa and Paul had chosen the perfect theme, it was colourful, fun and perfect for the beautiful summer day! They covered every surface in the hall with vases of bright flowers which looked absolutely amazing! In the Oak Room, hung rows upon rows of pastel bunting which made their ceremony room look so pretty. Their hessian covered chairs harmonised perfectly with the wood panels and together with the delicate lace, created a classic look.

This beautiful theme continues through into the Garden Suite with both the cake table and table plan being centered around it. The couple had chosen cupcakes instead of a wedding cake, which I think just looks amazing! Their table plan was titled with scrabble letters, as was their guest book sigh. I just love this idea and will definitely be stealing it in the future! Finally, their twinkle back drop. There’s not much I can say apart from how beautiful it looked in our Garden Suite. It just brought the whole room together especially when the hint of hessian was added!

Easter Sunday saw the return of our wonderful afternoon teas and what perfect way to spend the day, overlooking the beautiful parkland from our Garden Suite.

Our final wedding of the Easter Holidays took place on Saturday 22nd April. Anne and Gary said their vows infront of their closest friends and family in our Oak Room. They had chosen a simple pink and white theme which was incorporated into every single decoration. The Hall doesn’t need much decoration to look beautiful and I think Mr and Mrs Bennett got it just right! A little definitely does go a long way.

White roses decorated each table with just hints of pink accompanying the cupcakes. These cupcakes were amazing by the way! They had been made by a friend but definitely looked professional. With lots of different designs which were all so pretty, they were just perfect for a wedding day! There was also a single cake which is a must for the official cutting of the cake pictures.

Well, that’s it for this week’s blog, see you again in a couple of weeks!
