On Saturday 25th March, Natasha and Daniel said their vows in our beautiful Oak Room. Their pretty pink theme complimented the lovely olive colour of our ceremony room walls. They had kept things simple, with just a handful of delicate petals lining the long aisle. Wicker hearts hung above where the ceremony was to take place which I can imagine, looked absolutely beautiful on their photographs.
The flowers which were placed on both the wedding breakfast tables and the ceremony tables were the perfect colour for a spring wedding. The delicate pink and green colours really did look spectacular as the sun shone through our garden suite windows. Mr and Mrs Sayliss’ cake was just so so pretty. It was four tiers, each of which were decorated differently in pink and white icing. Their cake topper has to be my favourite part though! The ‘Happily ever after’ stood on top of the four tiers and just looked magical. The perfect fairy-tale topper for the perfect fairy-tale wedding.
The second of this year’s wedding tasters was held on Friday 31st March. More of our future brides and grooms came with their families to try our delicious food before their wedding day. They were greeted once again with a Bellini from our fabulous new prosecco bar, which is available for all our upcoming weddings.
Finally, on Sunday 2nd April, Carol and Lionel celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary with us. I was just so happy that they had chosen to spend such a tremendous occasion with us. They gave all their friends and family a lovey afternoon tea complete with yummy desserts. Of course, every part of their celebrations was golden which looked absolutely amazing!
