A little bit of everything..

The past two weekends at the Hall have been very busy and we even had a little bit of every event as you will soon read.

Our first event was a birthday party which took place on Saturday 25th February. The guests arrived mid-afternoon to celebrate a very special 80th birthday. The Hall was decorated beautifully with giant balloons and lovely pictures of the Birthday boy. The hall is just perfect for every type of event, especially Birthday parties. It’s perfect to relax on the terrace or admire the beautiful views from the garden suite windows.

Our second event, on Sunday 26th February, was our wonderful wedding fayre! Our suppliers arrived super early to set up and by the time we opened our doors at 11am, the Hall looked absolutely magnificent. There was a supplier for every element of a wedding and we met lots of lovely new couples. We hope to see lots of them again in the future and cannot wait to begin planning their weddings!

On Saturday 4th May, Gemma and Andy got married in our beautiful Oak Room. For once, the weather was on the couple’s side and the glorious sunshine shone through our huge Oak Room window. The sunshine was perfect for Mr and Mrs lee’s wedding as they had gone for a refreshing spring colour; yellow! Their chair covers were decorated with pretty lemon bows which really brightened the room. I think this room is just so unique as it just doesn’t need much decoration to make it look perfect, as you can see below. They had also chosen a yellow theme for their cupcakes which I think are always a little more fun than a cake!  These were decorated with delicate hearts and surrounded by pretty spring flowers.

On Sunday 5th March, we saw the return of the Eden Dora Trust at the Hall. This charity is absolutely amazing and raise money for such an important cause. They have had a couple of their birthday parties at the Hall now and they are always so much fun to be involved in! They completely transform our garden suite each time and make it look so pretty with their pink and blue theme. Our staff, volunteers and guests alike all had such an amazing time at this year’s event.

Our blog will be back in a couple of weeks with some more amazing events and of course, weddings!
