Blog, on a Tuesday?

Why is the blog being posted on a Tuesday? I hear you ask.

Well, it seems my laptop may have had the Monday blues so there were a few technical issues but we will be back on Monday again next week!

Our first couple of events this week were wonderfully festive Christmas parties. Crackers adorned the tables, Christmas songs could be heard throughout the hall and our beautiful fine was blazing in the Oak Room; the perfect elements for a fabulous festive party.img_1367-1

Our third event of the week, a wedding, took place on Saturday 10th December. Samantha and Daniel tied the knot in our oak room surrounded by their closest family and friends. They had booked their wedding over two years ago, so Samantha had spent a lot of time thinking about every aspect of her wedding day. She had planned everything, down to the smallest pinecone and it really showed! They had chosen hessian sashes for their chairs with delicate lace over the top, and as always, these looked beautiful. I know I always say that they match our Oak Room wonderfully but I just can’t express how good they look! On the subject of things that look great, this cake table is just amazing! Not only did it match their theme perfectly, it also had two of the best foods; cake and cheese and one of those was even a heart! Their cake was decorated with Christmassy flowers, berries and pinecones and the table filled with intriguing little boxes (I still don’t know what was inside them though).

Our Garden Suite was decorated absolutely beautifully, each table matched their specific theme with tiny additions to add a Christmassy touch. I absolutely loved their centrepieces, vintage lanterns bursting with pretty flowers, placed on three stacked logs. They were so simple but looked so beautiful and festive. Each of the guests had a small box wrapped in red and white twine. These looked like perfect little presents and were perfect for a seasonal wedding. I just wish I knew what was inside the tiny boxes! Whilst Samantha and Daniel had been planning their wedding, they had also spent a lot of time planning their honeymoon. What an amazing honeymoon it turned out to be! With over 8 locations, it was definitely going to be a jam packed few weeks but knowing how well planned the wedding was, I know that it will all be perfectly timed. It definitely will be the perfect honeymoon!
