Our first week of Festive Events

On Tuesday 15th November, we held our first Christmas lunch of the year! St James’ Place joined us for their meeting in our Oak room, then continued their festive day with a fabulous three course meal in our Garden Suite. Complete with crackers, the tables looked just perfect for a Christmas lunch. With our huge Christmas tree as your backdrop, what more could you want for your celebrations!

Our second event of the week was the wedding of Rachel and Isaac, who became Mr and Mrs Gregg in our Beautiful Oak Room on Saturday 19th November. They had transformed the Hall into a winter wonderland, chairs were decorated with delicate sprigs of mistletoe and the twinkling fairy lights from our tree and wreath created a truly Christmassy atmosphere. The winter theme continued into the Garden Suite as each napkin was decorated with tiny flowers and pinecones. Their centerpieces were sparkly white trees with festive berries that just looked beautiful, as did the whole room.

The favours that Rachel and Isaac had chosen are possibly my favourite favours of the year! Each guest had a box in which sat a glittery pinecone candle. They just looked so amazing, I really wish I could have seen one lit! I absolutely love cakes that are just really simple but so beautiful, and this definitely was. It was three tiers covered in pristine white icing with a sprinkling of snow on each one. Each tier was then surrounded by lovely white and green flowers. It just embodied everything that a winter wedding cake should be! It has definitely been a wedding to remember.

On Sunday 20th November we held our Winter Wedding open Day. True to the name it was a winter spectacular with yummy mulled wine for everyone who attended. Once again our lovely suppliers decorated the Hall absolutely beautifully and we hope you all enjoyed it!

Our next wedding fayre is on Sunday 26th February 2017, we hope to see you all there!
