A couple of cracking cakes!

On Saturday 22nd October we hosted Hannah’s 30th Birthday party at the Hall. Of course this was a huge surprise and the Hall was decorated in beautiful pinks and purples ready for when she arrived. In the oak room, a projector was set up with pictures of Hannah and her friends and family playing throughout the night. Also in the bar area was a prop station for those all-important selfies! Some of which I imagine will end up on the slideshow for the next party!

Through into the Garden Suite, the room was decorated beautifully with pompoms and balloons all perfect for creating the party atmosphere. The guests were entertained with a ‘candy buffet’ and childhood photos on each mirror. The cake was unlike anything we had ever seen before! Being pride and prejudice themed it was shaped like the book itself and was surround by delicious looking cupcakes.

On Sunday 23rd October, Adele and Stuart said ‘I do’ in our fabulous garden suite. They had gone for a red theme and it looked amazing! It’s always so refreshing to have someone do quite a bright colour and it matched the beautiful colour of the trees outside. Every surface in the Hall was covered with candles, fairy lights and red roses. I just think these looked great and really brought the whole Hall together.  The fireplace particularly looked stunning, it’s amazing the effect that just a few candles can have!

Once the tables for the wedding breakfast were in place, the room looked absolutely stunning! The centrepieces on each table were vases filled with huge, beautiful flowers. These were so different and really eye-catching! Each guest’s favour was a homemade candle in a glass for them to take home, such a great idea and very creative! The cake which was a one-tiered chocolate dream was just so pretty. It was decorated with red ribbon, lace and red roses and sat on top was Adele and Stuart themselves with their two dogs (who also attended the wedding!) It was just so simple but so beautiful.
