Our one and only wedding of the week was that of Matt and Amy Wilson who married at church before joining us for their reception on Saturday 8th October. Amy and Matt had out a lot of thought into their wedding and every single element matched each other as well as the beautiful autumn colours outside too! Their theme was a wonderful array of creams and hessian which complement each other perfectly. Their decorations started in the Oak room which was home to their card box and guest book. Their card box was a cream vintage suitcase which was decorated with pretty hessian flowers and looked absolutely beautiful next to their hessian covered guest book and quirky wish jar. Their table plan was hung inside a large limewashed frame, every little bit of this table plan looked perfect even down to the twine that was used to tie the tables up!
Through into the Garden Suite, the first thing that caught my eye was the cake as it was absolutely beautiful! It was decorated with edible lace, pearls and pretty roses and just looked absolutely perfect. It is definitely the type of cake I would choose! Amy and Matt had chosen two different centrepieces for their wedding breakfast and both looked absolutely spectacular in the middle of the tables. The first was 4 wooden logs which were decorated with flowers candles and moss. The second was a beautiful birdcage which held candles and was decorated with white roses and pearls. Each table also had a hessian runner which really gave each table a little extra ‘wow’! The top table and their chairs were also decorated in the same theme of Hessian and Lace and looked just perfect in our Garden Suite. Even the children’s gifts matched, which were packaged inside little brown bags with each child’s name on.
On Sunday 9th October we held a lovely lunch for Grace Hudson who had invited her friends and family to celebrate with her. The room looked absolutely lovely, decorated with beautiful fresh flowers on each table. The Hall is perfect for a ‘get together’ just like this one!
